As mentioned in previous posts, the ZOO Keepers love the great outdoors! We always try to build our vacations around various outdoor activities. One of our all-time favorite ways to commune with nature is hiking. Two of our most memorable trips were hiking expeditions through Whistler and Banff. So for our upcoming Spring vacation, we have planned a hiking trip to the Grand Canyon and Sedona, Arizona (with a short stay in Las Vegas).
I’m hoping some of you out there that have visited these locations, can offer us some advice or suggestions concerning “must see” attractions, trails we need to check out, or just some “good to know” information about these places. As well, foodie destination recommendations are always welcome too! Stay tuned for upcoming blog posts documenting our little adventure. For now, back to the cage.
